You did a great job using Who Wants to Be a Millionaire. I've seen people use Smarter Than a Fifth Grader. Those games are so much fun and can help you review concepts that you've already taught. I think that even though your students weren't using the technology hands-on, it was a great idea that they were writing down their answers. This made them accountable during the game. Excellent job! I can see that you are going to be a fun and technologically savvy teacher.
